Just a couple of nights ago, I noticed in both of my Netscape 7.1 email inbox folders, it shows that I have 1 unread email. Yet there are no unread emails in either inbox. Does anyone know where this came from? and how to get rid of it?

    thanks

I am very bad at this, as I pay no attention to what is is read or unread, or even read over 2/3 of my mail. So, this could happen, but I would not know it.
I have noticed that if an e-mail goes somewhere as effect of a filter, it may become unread, and I think that this could happen to your Inbox, if that was the selection. It is happening with iTunes newsletters which would otherwise be sent to the Junk folder (not having the address in my Address Book does not work), but I can select the message to be be sent to my Inbox, and it becomes unread.
There may be other possibilities, also.

    ctfarmboy,

In the View | Messages setting, if you select "All" rather than "Unread ", can you then view the message?

Also if the subject matter is the same as a previous email it might be listed under that heading in a thread--look for a down arrow in your read emails.
