   Why can't I use the folder My Pictures in My Documents unless I show all system files.

   As far as I know, in operating systems from Vista upward the My Pictures folder is not a folder but a shortcut (symbolic link) to the Pictures folder in the user directory. It is a hidden file. So is the My Documents file, it links to the Documents folder.

   Thanks for that TonyT. Sounds like I can't just click on my documents when I do a backup on IDrive & Ghost I have to navigate to users. Oh well!!!
