I recently switched from Road Runner to Earthlink, and in the process of trying to set up Outlook Express for the Earthlink mail I lost my Main Identity, saved emails, and the address book. Someone told me the file extensions to search for, and in fact they were still out there. The snag
is that they are in a hidden subdirectory (I am on XP Professional) and when I try to import to Outlook Express I can only get so far in the path before I encounter the hidden subdirectory. Same is true in Internet Explorer.

Can someone please tell me how to get to the emails and address book in order to import them back into Outlook Express 6?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

In Windows Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->View Tab there are 3 or 4 "unhide/show all file" options....
