Hi from Scotland

I've been using computers since 1990 when I worked with a recycling company restoring then 486 DOS systems, and rapidly moved up the scale to pentium systems with windows 95 & 98 etc. I've since moved on and now have my own XP system at home, which I use for my obscure research into the origins of life using Word, Powerpoint, Fireworks and Flash movie maker and other software. I recently completed an HNC Interactive Multimedia Creation course at college to help with my video projects, and I hope to develop a DVD for distribution and make a fortune some day (or at least become another famous Scotsman). Anyway, I joined the WindowsBBS as I often come across system problems I cannot solve, which usually results in loss of data and having to completely re-format my drive. I therefore hope that by becoming a member here I can get some help now and then, but also I may have come across solutions to problems that other people experience with their system, or perhaps not, you never know.
