I can see all the computers under my network Places. Everything is fine with the mapped network drive. Now I have 11 xp pro desktops and 1 xp home networked wireless. Everything works until every evening the main computer carring the file starts acting up. She can reboot the computer and everyone gains access and it may do this 2 more times but like I said when she reboots it gives access again. I am stumpped on what to do because it seems the computer access times out or something. Anyone with the same issue please shed some light on this thks. I am using two wrtg4gs routers daisy chained with the linksys -g wireless cards. thks

    things to check:
    1. disable logging in the routers if it's enabled. (eats up the small amount of ram in those wrt54g's.)
    2. computer browser service sometimes may shut down on the comp that must be rebooted. Admin Tools > Services > Computer Browser Service set to Automatic & started PRIOR to any network access by other client systems on the lan.
    3. daisy chaining the routers: I assume you use ONLY 1 wrtg54g as a router-ap and the second one as a repeater w/ the router & dhcp disabled (w/ static ip like 192.168.1.2, acting as ONLY an AP). That's the sane way to do it, else network disconnects will be frequent and any networking will be eratic.
