    Hi,

Could anyone please tell me how to open up Xp programs with vista?
I live in South Africa and vista is fairly new here, the problem is i cannot open any emails, doc's or files i keep getting the same message saying it is unable to open the file and then 'works' automatically runs.

    Please help!!

    Thank you,
    Calvin

Most programs written for Windows XP also work in this version of Windows, but some older programs might run poorly or not at all. If an older program doesn't run correctly, use the Program Compatibility Wizard to simulate the behavior of earlier versions of Windows.

Click to open the Program Compatibility Wizard

Note if the above link won't work, open Help and Support in the Start Menu and enter run xp that will take you there.
