I'm looking for a detailed description possibly with pictures on how to accomplish this.

I've tried network wizard but there's too many options and it always ends up confusing me.

As the previous poster has stated, if the older computer is still hooked up, you may want to invest in an external hard drive that can plug in the usb port, or get a usb thumb/flash drive. Flash drives have really come down in price.

All you have to do is plug in the flash drive into your usb port (there are usually some on the front of the computer) and an autorun screen should come up, or you may get an explorer window. Just drag the files you want to save to the explorer window that represents your flash drive.

Or you can burn your files to cds/dvds.
