help with PowerPoint Presentation File Assignment

Hello,
I have set up a kiosk computer for internet browsing. For a scheduled task, I have set a presentation to run after 15 mins of inactivity.

The problem is, I cannot set it to run the presentation on its own, it runs the whole application (PowerPoint) and the user has to go to view slide show. This is rather irritating and is there a file switch i set to avoid it?

I tried powerpoint viewer, but the problem was, the file assignment keeps changing back from viewer to powerpoint after i set it to the viewer. Why does it keep doing this?

Ignore that, I think I sorted it by saving the file as a powerpoint show.


Or not... If I run it on its own it opens in a show, when the scheduled task runs, it runs it in PowerPoint. Very odd...?
