help with mail account

I have an email account but I am not sure it is completely correct or not. I can sent and received but from some sites I never received the activation emails. It seems like all the automatic emails from these sites were blocked.

Anyway, there are a few steps in the new account setting are confusing to me:

When I open outlook express, click on (Tools) and go to accounts , the internet accounts opens -> click on the (mail) tab -> click on (properties), the mail properties window opens -> click on the (general) tab. At the top, I see the Mail Acount, which I understand is any name I choose for my mail account.

Now, I click on the (server) tab and near the middle of this window I see (Incoming mail server) and right below it is Account name. I don't know if this is the same as my username or the Mail account that I mentioned above?

I figured out. According to an outlook tutorial, Account name is the same as user name.
