HELP with 2 O/S Please I'm Begging

I royally messed up my machine last night. I had WinXP and Linux as dual boot. To make a long story short.....I reinstalled XP to get rid of Lilo bootloader and crashed.

I had to install Win98 to enable a reinstall of the XP upgrade.
I now have two partitions= C: Win98 and D: WinXP. I want to delete Win98 and just have one partition, preferably named C with WinXP on it. I can't delete it from computer management.
HELP!!!!

Edit: OK I found out that C is the system and D is the boot, so I cannot delete either partition. How can I get out of this mess?

 

You know every time I come to this forum I end up answering myself. Nevermind on this one, I fixed it.

 

A little patience would be a virtue - asking a bit much for a reply within a couple of hours of posting.

Please post back on how you fixed your problem as it may help others in a similar situation. That is how these forums work.
