Help with 11004 Error on Outlook express

    was trying to send email when suddenly it gave me that error 11004... my email was working fine yesterday though...

    Does rebooting the pc help?
    What is the exact error message?
    Did you google error 11004 and see all the hits?

    tried rebooting, still doesnt do a thing. i also tried to use google and support.microsoft.com and still cant find any fix...

    This is the error message:

    Try turning OFF the email scanner in your antivirus and if that does not work BRIEFLY turn off your firewall to see if that is the cause.

    It is always possible that it is a temporary problem with your ISP.

    yeah, tried turning my email scanning option off (scanning inbound and outbound mail), still doesn't work. called Verizon, they used the thing called go to assist, and then the tech took over the pc, still nothing happened. still the same error, we tried removing then recreating the account the error is still there, we also tried using the ip address of the outgoing and incoming mail server of verizon but stilll the same... What they did afterwards is have me log in using their webmail netmail.verizon.net, i was able to view my emails but still cannot use my outlook... in the end, they referred me to microsoft... :mad: geez its freakin frustrating...
