This is a prank it cant be happening< the smarts over at microsoft must have read me ranting about their sub par software and decided to mess up my system for good>>>

i ve just installed service pack two and my system is wrecked> for starts i have the caps permanently turned on the keyboard and the only way i can reactivate them is by pressing< well you guessed it cap lock> but as you can see i cant type commas< full stops< numbers< I ONLY get the uppercase such as, oh, believe it or not the nightmare is over and the keyboard it seems is back on and functioning, wait let me test it...342klj;a, seems ok, now let me see the mouse because when i was clicking on an item i was getting multiple icons marked up instead, the mouse currently works. What on earth was that? Did it happen to you, i hope it doesn't happen again...

And can anyone tell me whenever i restart how to get this annoying balloon popping up informing me i ve got the windows firewall turned off, and to click there to "fix the problem "....fix the problem? you morons, the problem is popping up the baloon everytime on start up, while i have decided not to use your firewall...jesus...imagine if other software manufacturers made this a policy to balloon you on every option you toggled, we be clicking baloons for days...

I knew i shouldn't have installed this piece of garbage, and all the work i had programed for today and automated with a macro to run while i d been away, well, it didn't, and i got ms to help for that....for a good days of work going down the pipeline.

I just hope, i dont come across other pestering bags, and i d like to know if such a thing has happened to you, and how you went about dealing with it...

Start > Control Panel > Security Center and in the left hand side under Resources > Change the way Security Center alerts me and uncheck wahtever alerts you want to disable.

I understand your feelings but when asking a question could you please seperate out the questions from your rant? Really makes it hard to find the questiion in there.

    Regars - Charles
