help windows 2000 server boot drive is gone

Hello every one, if same one can give a hand here I really need it, I have a 2000 server computer with 3 SCSI hard drives, 0,1,2
I am booting from ( 0) when ever I want to boot from windows 2000 OS,i can not boot , not even on dos safe mode, I triad the repair option, nothing work, the only way I can see I will fix this is if I can access the mirror driver which is disk( 1) I found on the scsi utilities the option to tell the computer to boot from (1) but I doesn’t work, (may be I do not have a mirror set?????), well is there any way I can boot or test if the drives are accessible, like on windows 98 you just boot on boot up floppy disk then change to c:\ and then dir, so you know the drive is ok, or I need to change the boot.ini so I can point to the drive (1) ANY HELP IS APRECIATED

two options if you really do have a mirror.
1. Create a fault tolerate boot disk. Format a floppy under Win2k. Copy the ntldr, ntdetect.com, boot.ini over to the floppy. Modify the arc path in the boot.ini to match SCSI drive 1
2. physically move drive 1 to drive 0 and boot
