Clicking Help and Support from the start menu makes the cursor flicker for a moment then nothing. Where has it gone? How do I get to it?

    Thanks

This is usually caused by using a Registry Cleaner that isn't what it should be. I use RegCleaner and no other. It has never harmed any of my systems. Do not confuse it with RegClean from MS.

That said, You can either manually edit your Registry or get the XP Help restorer VB script from Doug Knox.

    'dude,

I went google on RegClean and the only thing that came up (on the first few pages) was "RegClean v4.1a" which is the Microsoft thing.

Do You have a link to RegClean (not Microsoft) or did You mix up the names? I have used jv16-RegCleaner which is fairly safe to use.

    Thanks,
    Christer

Christer, How stupid of me and nice of you to catch me doing it. :D Of course I meant RegCleaner and have relayed that to others so many time. The human mind is a strange organ and can turn on you at a moments notice. :D I think sometimes mine has completely departed but left just enough to allow me to embarrass myself. Jouni Vuoro would flip if he caught me doing that.

    Thanks for keeping me honest.
