Hi, am having a few problems concerning messenger.msi

Whenever I start Adobe Acrobat v6.0.1 it comes up with an windows installing dialog box that asks me to find messenger.msi. I have searched on my hard drive and cannot locate this file, I have both windows messenger and msn messenger installed (although I have disabled windows messenger from starting up). I have uninstalled adobe acrobat and reinstalled it but get the same message coming up. Its only with this one program that it comes up with. Can anybody help??

I am running Windows XP Home SP1 with MSN Messenger v6.1 and windows messenger v4.7 with the msn add-in. Adobe acrobat v6.0.1

    Thanks

    Martyn

For some reason, AA doesn't like the say MSN Messenger is loaded.

Need more detail. Please look in your event logs for the following and when you find the most recent, open each (there will be a pair of them), click on the icon below the up/down arrow (sends a text copy to the clipboard) and paste in here.

    Look for

    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: MsiInstaller
    Event ID: 1001
    and
    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: MsiInstaller
    Event ID: 1004

If you see other MsiInstaller event IDs with warning or error, add them as well.
