my "toolbar" has mysteriously disappeared from the top of my internet explorer and no matter what i try i cannot make it come back. i no longer have file, edit, print, etc buttons. i no longer have a back button (this is infuriating). i no longer have an address bar to put web addresses in. nothing. all i have is a window. right now, i'm using aol as my browser. otherwise, i would not even be able to get to this forum right now. i just upgraded to version 6.0 internet explorer, hoping that the defaults would be reset and the toolbar would return. no such luck. please, anybody w/ suggestions, give 'em to me. i'll try anything at this point. i have been in this predicament for several weeks and it is driving me absolutely batty. thanks in advance for the help.

Do you have the menu bar, "File Edit View Favorites Tools Help "?

What happens when you press teh F11 keyboard key?

Is it possible you have fullview/autohide in force? Move mouse to top of IE and see if the toolbar reappears.

Any toolbar at all that can be right clicked?
