Help! Lost documents in offline folder!

Hi

The laptop had not been connected to the server for a while, the laptop is running XP pro. The user had been saving her documents to the offline folder.

Then she went and UN-selected the option to stop it being an off line folder and clicked ok on the message.

Now all her work has vanished. Any way off recovering the changes made since the laptop was last connected to the server? Machine has not been re-connected to the server, offline drive has been made available again, but documents are not there and cannot be searched for and found on the drive.

They may be gone forever (probable) or may just be hidden (if the friend is really, really lucky). Take a look Here for enough information to at least start looking for them.
