    Hi groe

    - is this Windows98 First Edition or Second Edition pls?

    - and, do you have your Windows CD ROM to hand?

If you have the CDROM to hand we can put it back easily enough - I'm wondering how it went missing and whether any other help files vanished at the same time...

    best wishes, HJ

    afterthought:

try using FileFinder to search for windows.chm, looking through the whole of your hard drive...

...just in case it's been moved somewhere else by accident (as opposed to getting deleted).

OK not terribly likely - but it's possible and would only take a moment to check. If all that's happened is that the file's been moved into the wrong place you won't even need to reach for your Windows CD

    best wishes, HJ.
