Help! BIOS update failure.

    I posted this under general also. I hope that is OK.

    That says it all. It is a piece of junk now. I updated the Award bios exactly as I was supposed to and now the darn thing will not post. Does anyone know what I have to do now

    If you can get into the BIOS try loading the defaults - usually under the Exit menu.

    Otherwise reset the CMOS to default values by removing the mobo battery and shorting out the appropriate points - see your mobo manual.

    I tried to do that. The PC can not post. So I do not even get video.

    Have you tried the second option - clearing the CMOS?

    Yes, when I turn on the PC the fans spin up but there is still no post.
