Hello? Is this thing on?

I suppose this is where I get to tell everyone how little I know about computers and beg for your help! Ok...it's not as bad as that. I work in Finance, but I've worked entirely in the tech industry. So my family, who truly know NOTHING about computers, insists on asking me (stop giggling) to fix their computers. Asking me to fix your computer is a little like asking an accountant at Ford Motor Company to put brakes on your Ford Mustang. Just because I work for them, doesn't mean I know how to work on them!

I've managed to pick up a little knowledge here and there, and I know when to ask for help. Which is what brings me to you. I have a Google redirect malware issue, so please look for post in the appropriate places, where I post my hijack this log, and beg for help.

And I can't say enough how grateful I am for sites like this one, and for those who offer their help.
