Hello All…From Martinsville, VA (NASCAR)

I am a 68 y.o. retired US Army Ranger, 35 years service (a survivor of the Berlin crisis "“Checkpoint Charlie, 3 wars and 1 major conflict (Panama). Most recently a DoD employee. After spending 48 years as Federal employee, I’ve relegated to spending most of my time traveling (with my wife of 48 years…of course) and my passion for computers, my’69 Harley Sportster 900 and’72 Triumph Bonneville (chopped). Since "˜everyday’ is Saturday for me, I have lots of time to spend tinkering, web surfing and doing case mods. Way back, when the Govt went automated, I was blessed with an IBM 360 desktop (DOS of course) which had 24 KB of memory, 8mb harddrive, 5 ¼" floppy disk. A few years later, after paying $1200+ for a Compaq Presario (Win 3.11), I vowed "never again" and have been building my own custom comps ever since. This site is the greatest ever, fantastic support chain/staffers. Just from browsing the forums I have acquired a wealth of information and learning experiences which has reinforced my knowledge base. God bless you all. Peace!
