heatsink plastic mount for socket 478

dont ask me how but when I was installing a new heatsink and fan I broke off one of the brackets on the plastic mount that is attached to the mainboard. does anyone know where I can find just the plastic mount that snaps into the mainboard for a socket 478.

not even sure what it is called but seems mount is the appropriate word.

 

The only place I know of is the manufacturer...I know, not much help.

BUT, don't try to run the pc with out it. My kids daycare provider like to build their own machines...like a backyard mechanic. The husband tried to run the machine with a broken clip.

finally found someone who carries them. they are metal but they work. cant break off the post with metal. nexfan.com even got an extra one for free.

manufacturer didnt have them on their site.

yes, not a good idea to run without all 4 clips. vibration and no cooling cuz its not clamped down would tend to kill the board in a short period of time.
