Heads up for users w/QT Alt vs 7.0.3.25

There is a problem with the Quicktime Alternative plugin (versions 7.0.3 and
7.0.3.25).
The problem appears to be NOT with FF(?) or Mozilla(?) but just the QT plugin.
If you use QT Alternative, avoid this plugin until a fix is available......
It will cause you to close the browser your using.

Mozilla and FF Folks are looking at the problem and it appears to be with the plugin

There have been enough problems with the regular QT7.0.3, and 7.0.3.25, so why not the alternative? The regular one requires a clean uninstall, and the reinstall has worked nicely. Otherwise, especially when coupled with iTunes6, it is a sure disaster.

 

So true!!!

Except for movie trailers, i dont use mov files very much just because there
are better media players that QT.
