Suggests you work for Dell and have access to their inner sanctums. If they offer AOHell trial and it doesn't work that is misselling or whatever. Presumably Dell supply a router with their Vista PC's to enable AOHell to function ....

When you say AOL would not install, what do you mean? Where any error messages etc?

What it suggests and the reality are two different things. The unit came with an internal dial-up modem installed, and I had to assume it was not a USB. Also this is the first dial-up I have done in a long time.

Why am I getting the feeling I started out on the wrong foot here? Comments like "well you are the Dell guy" along with the above makes me wonder. It was not my intention to portray myself as something I'm not, and if I gave that impression I'm sorry. - I'm just glad I didn't get my wallet out and subscribe.
