    Hi Guys,
just put the new system together - works great....:)

One little annoyance though - the HDD LED blinks once a second, every second. I have never seen this before....

Running XP Pro, SP2; Screensaver "Off ", Power Management "Off" - no running processes that I can spot....

The MoBo manual mentions nothing of it.

Has anyone had experience of this, am I overreacting?....

    TIA,
    Den

Is there a chance that you have the Led connector to the mobo reversed - generally doesn't work at all if the wrong way round, but....

Have you turned Indexing Service OFF?
