HDD for one PC to antoher

    Is there anyway to take a HDD from one PC and allow it to boot up in another PC? i am getting a new computer soon and don't feel like transfering everything, reinstalling everything and stuff like that

    Since all the hardware is different, Windows will usually choke to death trying to bootup. A "Repair Install" of will generally will fix it.

    Hi,

    Try searching the BBS for "repair install ". From the title of the threads in the search results you will find a lot of excellent information (a lot of people ask about it).
