After fdisk and formatting for my (3) OS multi-boot sys, i installed W98se fist, then Win2000pro, then XP home version....

    The problem:
W98 and XP report, w98 as C:, w2k as D:, and xp as E:, with the rest of the partitions in order....no problem.

Win2000 see the drive partitions as:
w98 as C:, the Data partition as D:, w2k as E:, and xp as F: and all the rest in order.

Wonder why Win2000 see the partitions differently the W98 or XP ??

IF I chg the Win2000 partitions drive letter to D: (as the other 2 OSes see it) win2000 will not boot......period.

    Any Ideas welcome :(

Try a boot manager like System Commander and install it on your first drive/partition. This will allow you to configure each O/S as residing on C:, prevent them from seeing each other, and any other drives/partitions will align relative to C: from all your O/S's.
