Having trouble with IE 6.0

    Im running win xp pro.IE 6.0 with all xp service pack updates.im having awierd problem ive never seen before.i have alot of fav. sites i goto everyday.when i goto some of those same sites they dont seemed to be updated.but if i goto the url and type it in,they seem to update.its like its showing old info and wont update.having said that my home page IWON.com updates and nascar.com updates regularly.im not sure if its the site or me or both.if anyone has any idea please post.i might have left something out as far as settings or whatever but i cant remember changing anything.im a rookie at this so go laman if possible.thanks

    p.s. ive got cookies enable.

    It sounds like IE is pulling a copy of the website from cache. Check this... right click on IE shortcut > go to (Internet) Properties > on the 'General' tab go to the section that is labeled 'Temporary Internet files' > click 'Settings'. Then select check for new content on "every visit to the page ". This way the page will be current. You can also manually 'refresh' by hitting the F5 key after the page has loaded. Also make sure to empty your IE temporary files on a regular basis. HTH
