having to type entire url in browser

    hello,

    out of nowhere, on both my internet explorer and my aol browser bar, i have to type in "http://www...." to get to whatever site, instead of it assuming the http://www portion. is there a preference somewhere that might have gotten changed that i can possibly switch back?

    Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab> Personal Information>Auto Complete>click select Web Addresses. OK out and Apply.

    You should be able to type for instance "windowsbbs" and use Ctrl+enter for the http.....to be added.
