I'm sure this must be covered somewhere but I have done several searches and can't find anything.

After I log in to a site which I am a member of I have to log in when I return everytime, even though I have ticked the remember me box.

I have tried adjusting my settings, Internet options/privacy to overide automatic cookie handling and allowed all cookies. I have also tried entering one of the sites in question as a managed site to allow cookies, but I still have to log in again every time I return to the site. I don't know what else to try. Does anyone have any suggestions please ? I am usinng IE6 on XPprofessional. My hard disc has just been installed in a new tower and this problem has arisen since then. Everything else appears to be working ok.

Any input would be appreciated thanks

Its a cookie problem for sure...

Log into a site - verify that the cookie is there - reboot - see if the cookie is still there.

    Site problem ?

    Thanks Steve,

It would now appear to be a particular site problem. I checked my cookies as you suggested and they are all there. I know find that it is just one particular site. Previously another site appeared to have the same problem but that is now rectified. All my other sites now remember me apart from the one in question. I have e-mailed the administrators of that site and am awaiting a response. Thanks for your help.
