Have I lost my Update?

I received a high priority update from Microsoft last night. The problem is that when I took a quick look at it something did not seem right. I did not feel like looking at it further and shut the computer off. When you do this you have two options, one is to install then shut down or no install and shut down. I shut the computer down without an install.
When I went looking for the download tonight I can't seem to find it. I double checked with the update page but it says I am up to date.
Have I lost this update or is there a way of finding it.

mopar--When you are on the Windows Update page, on the left hand side you will be offered "View Installation History ". Click on that and you will be told if the installation was made successfully. If not you should be able to access the Update manually from here
