Resolved hard drives

    I have two hard drives hooked up, one is win 8.1 the other win 10.
    how can I sign in to ether one. I ether have to change the wiring around or disconnect one.
    how can I keep both hooked up and switch them on desktop, or can't i.

    You can only boot 1 operating system at a time. Start one, use it. Reboot, use the bios boot menu, select the drive to boot with other operating system. The other option is to use a separate boot loader software to choose which drive to boot. More difficult, but most efficient, is to edit the windows 10 boot menu and add 8.1 to it. But if not familiar with the command prompt it would be better to use a 3rd party boot loader software.

    By far, the easiest is to just use the bios boot menu and select the drive you want to boot. Usually an F key during boot brings up the bios boot menu. Check the manual for your computer to see which key to use.
