I have an MSI CR650 i am looking at for a friend. I have removed numerous virus's and the like from it, and it's now up and running. The problem is that we keep getting a message that D drive is nearly full. The hard drive has 2 partition's, C and D drive. C drive is only half full, still 79 gb free, but drive D is showing only 19 meg free. When you open drive D it's 5 folders only show a couple of K of data. I can view all hidden files on D drive, but none of them show anywhere near the 89 Gb of data the system says is on the drive. Can anybody please advise what we can do here.

    D drive full

I found the problem, there were multiple back up files dating back to 2012 in an MSI file. I have deleted all the back up files , and set it so that windows will now manage back up history up to a max of 26 Gb. D drive now had 55 Gb of free space.

    Hard drive

i found a program called WinDirStat , which let me see what was actually in each folder in the hard drive. This enabled me to see what was hogging all the drive space. Thank you for your help, greatly appreciated.
