   Just ran a test on my C drive using a program I got from a Fred Langa news letter. Program reported it's operating in UDMA 2 Ultra ATA/33 but it is capable of UDMA 5 Ultra ATA/100.
   
   Question is how and can I change the mode to optimum performance?

   A couple of things to check .....
   
   Is your mobo capable of supporting Ultra ATA100?
   
   If you have 2 hard drives of different transfer speeds on the same controller they will both run at the lower transfer rate, AFAIK
