Is there an easy method for transfering data from hard disk on older computer (Win 95) to another hard drive in new computer (XP) without getting involved in setting up a network?

If this is going to be a one time thing you could take out the old drive and put it in your new system as slave. Then just copy what you need then take out the old drive and put it back in your 95 system. Don't forget to reset the jumper back to master. Also if you have a CD-R/RW installed in your 95 system you could put the files you want on to a CD.
