Are you using a 'customised' version of IE supplied by your ISP?

I see your experience level is listed as beginner so I'll explain this step by step as I don't know if you'r familiar with regedit or not. Click start>run and type regedit and click OK. In the window that opens click the plus sign next to HKEY_Current_User. Next click the plus sign by software, then polices, then microsoft, then Internet Exporer. Now click on control panel. Look in the right pane for Homepage. If it's there and and under data it says 0x00000001, right click on Homepage and choose modify. Change the one to a zero.

Your welcome. I have to point out however that there is an advantage to it being set that way. There are some webpages that will steal your homepage. If you set it back the way it was once you have the homepage you want, nobody will be able to change it. Just a thought. Not real important but.......
