    Arie sent me a private post telling me that my e-mail address was not correct (mail was returned), so, I made appropriate changes. Then, when I tried to make one post, I got a total nonsense error. This is partly a test, partly to let people know that certain things cannot be done. I had the nightly tester extention, which had allowed me to use almost all extention with FF2.0. I thought that bigger was better, installing the MR Local Install extention. After rebooting I was told that half of my extentions were not compatible. Nothing helped. So, I uninstall MR Tech, and reinstall the Nightly Tester extention, and all but one of my extentions became compatible, again. So, there are differences between the two. I am sure that JSS3rd will set me straight, but, it does not matter, now.

    What things?

    The Nightly Tester Tools extension (which I've never tried by itself) is built into the MR Tech Local Install extension (which has never so much as burped on my system). FF 2.0 is my default browser, but it was opening with some extensions disabled when called by a link in an email, and I only just discovered the solution.

    I have three profiles, one for each of the three FF versions I use, and the information telling whichever browser I'm using where to find the proper profile is stored in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini and looks like this (only on my system):
    [General]
    StartWithLastProfile=1

    [Profile0]
    Name=FF1.5
    IsRelative=0
    Path=E:\MOZILLA\FIREFOX\PROFILES\FF1.5

    [Profile1]
    Name=FF2.0
    IsRelative=0
    Path=E:\MOZILLA\FIREFOX\PROFILES\FF2.0
    Default=1

    [Profile2]
    Name=FF3.0
    IsRelative=0
    Path=E:\MOZILLA\FIREFOX\PROFILES\FF3.0
    As I said, FF 2.0 is my default browser, but I found the Default=1 line included in the FF 1.5 entry ([Profile0]). After editing the file (even though it's an .ini filetype it can be edited with any text editor, even NotePad) to include the line in [Profile1], as you see it above, FF 2.0 now opens with all installed extensions enabled when called by an email link.

    I was referring, not clearly, of course, that changing the e-mail address , only for the user group, can be done, but it is a major headache. I did not have to make any changes of my address, outside windowsbbs.
    Since the Nightly Tester Tools extention is built in MR Local Install, I thought that it would have helped to have the latter extention, without missing a step.
    But, I found out that it was not the case.
    I happen to have MR Local Install in all other Firefox and Thunderbird. Only FF2.0 has the Nightly Tester Tools extention. Obviously, it is not that simple.
    Anyway, everything is under control.
