    Hello everybody

    Unfortunate recent events let me to this very nice forum to tell of my tale...

    Oh, I'm currently living in the state of CT, USA and please call me Derg. I own a Dell D-8400 with 1GB ram 160GB HDD P4 3.0GHz....blahblahblah. This computer was bought at around $1400 and back in the old days it was one of those high-end pcs, but now I can buy a pc with the same customs at 400$......

    I have WinXP sp2 on and it's been getting really buggy lately so I was hoping the nice people of this forum would help me cure some of them. I am by no means a Tech-inept person for I am quite handy with computer basics and hardware/software stuff.

    That was my brief introduction, and I'm happy to be in the community

    Yea, I never look back once I've bought a new PC. It's normal that within 12 month the price drops to 1/2 what you paid, only to drop further in the months after that. :eek:
