My name is James Carter Parson.

I am 58 and I have a background in computers; however in the mid 80's I got away from them, I was a repair manager at a computer store from 1981 to 1987 but I got off in accounting as I was the software support and software installor for a franchise called "Inacomp Computer Centers" started by Rick Inatome based in the northwest

I am trying to get A+ certified, and then I will move towards a MCSA or MCSE, if possible.

I did some programming in 1981 on an Apple IIe with a CP/M card and a 10MB Corvus. I used a "GET" statement for an input routine so I could control user inputs with "hooks" (If statements). Wrote a Doctor's Office Management Program (appointments, procedural codes, diagnostic codes, and insurance billing), Radio scheduling (morning, afternoon, evening drive time), Job Cost (Labor Rate/Efficiency variances, Materials Price Quantity variances, Overhead variances), Mortgage Lending (reselling mortgage paper) I built my first computer with IBM XT share parts.

I am a member of MPAN and a MPAN consultant, after passing a Microsoft accounting test.

I do taxes and bookkeeping. Also do special projects for different businesses.

As a learing experience, I am studying Visual BASIC, current trying to figure out how to get data from and to the screen using a SQL database (Not as easy as I thought it would be).

As of this moment, I have downloaded the 220-601 and 220-702 study guides from Comp TIA and I am in the process of building a very in depth study guide based on the outlines for the two (2) tests. I was search for IRQ assignments which brought me to this website.

I intend to make this study guide public and it will probably take me 6 to 9 to complete. My method for creating the study guide is to search the interest saving sites that I deem "good" and them incorporate what I lean from each site into the guide. If you look at the Comp TIA 220-601 and 220-702 outlines, you will see the task is formidable.

Thanks for the use of this website; I trust this e-mail finds the reader well.
I hope I may be able to contribute to your site in some way, shape, or form.
