I just recently switched over from Outlook Express to Outlook XP. The one thing I can figure out is how to get graphics to show in the body of the message.

What I mean is that when I would receive a message that had a graphic attached, outlook Express would automatically display in the preview pane. But with Outlook, I have to open each graphic separately.

Is this a security thing? is there a way to over-ride the setting?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks.

On the tool bar of Outlook click on "View" then "Preview Pane ".
It's like a switch on or off.
Personally the first thing I do is turn it off.

Let me rephrase my original question.

How do I change the settings in Outlook XP so that the graphics are displayed within the body of the message, rather than as attachments? I am not referring to the preview pane as a way to read email messages.

What I want is to be able to view the message and see the graphic all at the same time within the body.

This is common in Outlook Express and I would also like to view messages the same way using Outlook XP.

    Thanks.

I know what your talking about now. You want to view your incoming mail in HTML format instead of Rich Text.
I poked around in tools/options but I only found it for out going.
Mine displays however it came in by deffault.
Poke around in tools / options and see what you can find.
