    Dear Sirs,

I am trying to get some assistance why various Graphics programs I have tried will not save the changes. Mainly I am resizing and zooming in on pictures I have taken with my Digital Camera. I do a save-as and give it another name and apply, but it is not saving the changes....Its pretty strange to say the least. Thanks for your time....

I am using Windows XP Professional and for the Graphics systems I have tried Photoshop Pro, Microsoft Graphics editor, along with some other ones I don't quite remember all of them. I uninstalled them when they would not do a Save-AS and keep the changes I made. Basically trying to zoom in on some pictures that are to far away...Thanks...Sorry for lacking that info!

    J

I don't believe the 'Zoom' function is something that can be saved. I believe it is an enhancement to allow viewing details in an image that you are working on. I imagine you could 'resize' the image and 'crop' the area you were interested in, but the result would leave a lot to be desired.

The freeware Irfanview. Just easily crop the part of the image you want to zoom and save.
