got new cdrom driver next

    cdrom driver did the job bu now i hit start from new now it say windows 98 set up wizard user inforations inter product key number i have none help me now i cant get it off this without a product key number recorery cd just have sku # what must i do ?

    CD ROMs shouldn't need drivers. If you are talking about a new CD burning program or installing a new program that requires a product key. You need just that, a product key (serial number).

    Without it, you have nothing. Such are usually printed on the envelope of the CD.
