Google Page Rank Question

Hi,

I am not sure if this question fits in this forum. I figured I would give it a shot since I have had such great responses from past questions.

I have been working these past few years to boost my company web site's Page Ranking at Google. After much effort I am up to a 6/10 rank. My company just introduced a new service that I wish to promote. I added several pages to my website and made sure that all pages on the site have links to other pages. In other words, these new pages look like they were written at the same time as the older pages and are refernced in the navigational bars at the top of every page.

I did all of this 3 months ago. Google's spider has hit my site 2 or three times since then. However, while my old pages continue to be ranked 6/10, these new pages are ranked 0. Does anyone know why these new pages have this low rank? What can I do to get the rank of these new pages up to a 6?

while google spiders pages of your site possibly daily it may only index the same pages for a while. So your sites pages may not get indexed very often. It will also depend on wether you have a forum installed and how muany pages you have in general.

The only way to get your page rannk up would be to get those pages out there more or rename them to what your old pages are that way they get indexed too.

Thanks for the info. I am sorry I did not reply sooner. Twice I tried to log in and encountered system problems. In the meantime, my new pages are now ranked (although a bit lower than the rest of the site). I will keep your suggestions in mind for the future.
