Its neasly Xmas and i was thinking of asking santa for a monitor.

I currently have some Amaga thing thats about 10 years old. Its never off anf i think its getting kind of past it.

A friend got a £100 HP 17" monitor and i couldnt believe things looked so good on a new one.

Within £200, what would be a good 19 - 21" monitor. Mainly for AV work, images and High Def. video. Something with good colour, contrast, even black etc.

Any suggestions? Maby a widescreen PC mon? would that push the Price a bit?

    Thanks :)

    Hi

My hardware magazine always seems to have a good test review of Syncmaster (CRT) monitors. I got one over 2 years ago for my daughter and she has never had a bad thing to say about it. I've seen good recomendations elsewhere as well. If I was in the market, I would consider those first. They should be available over your way.
