Going back

Ramona,

I've noticed lately that when browsing with Mozilla, when I click to "go back" to a page, the page doesn't go back to where I was in the document but rather to the top of the page.

It's very annoying. Is there a setting somewhere to have it return to where I was in a document or on a page?

Have you noticed this at sites OTHER than this forum - lately.
There was a change in WBBS forum format recently that has had some very strange effects.

If noticed at other sites - please post a link

I noticed this same condition. After visiting two other Forums, Suggest A Fix PC Support Forum and MrComputer Forums and stepping through several threads, each returned me to the same place on the page when using the Back button. As Kenny said the Windows BBS forum returns to the top of the page when the Back button is used.

It happens no matter what page I am on. Whenever I click to return to a previous page, it never goes to where I was but rather back to the top of the page.

I can not get this anomaly at other forums or pages, only this one ( so far )

When I select the "back button ", at the top of the browser window, or use the "backspace" key it returns me to the location in the page that I was previously.
Except this forum.....

I am using Moz 1.6 - Win98se.

Hopefully someone can duplicate your problem and we can come up with a suggestion.

The only site I have trouble with is Ebay. After viewing an item, clicking the back button will return me to the top of the page rather than the place of the page where I first clicked. I think this problem is well documented; I've seen quite a few posts in Mozillazine forums about it (happens in most if not all Gecko browsers).
