I am attempting to install GoBack on my Windows 98se Computer. It tells me that there is an error on the C drive and to run Scansisk thorough on the C drive. I finally started it in safe mode. I turned off any screen saver and so for it keeps trying but it will not do it. There must be a bad spot on the C drive It finally asks me that after 10 attempts do I want to continue.
    Any suggestions

Ha, so much for that. I ran a complete scandisk with surfass scan. It didn't find a thing wrong. However, I still get the message when I try to install GoBack that there is an error on the C drive. Run scandish thorough. This same problem occured to this same machine about a year and a half ago. Somehow, I worked my way around it and got it on the computer. I don't recall what I did then.
    Any suggestions?

I would go to your HD manufacturer web site, and download their HD diagnostic tool to see, if your HD is really OK. Those tools are usually free.
