I am using Netscape 7 and have been for a while. This morning the browser opened fine, but this aft when I tried to open it, I got the error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
    Details:
Netscape caused an invalid page fault in module GKLAYOUT.DLL at 0177:60401 dac.
I used IE6 and tried to do some research on it, but found nothing. I then rebooted and it started fine. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what could have caused it?
    Thank you.

    Hi Bonnie,

The GKLAYOUT.DLL error is usually associated with a bad theme. Have you installed a new theme recently? If not, then do the usual maintenance steps:

Go to your profiles directory and delete history.dat, history.mab, cookies.txt, and the cache folder.

If that doesn't help, create a new profile.

    HTH,

    Ramona :D

Thank you for the reply....no new themes. I do keep the other things cleared out on a regular basis, but if I have the problem again I will create a new profile.
