    Dear All,

I'm new to the forums and would appreciate some help please. My girlfriend has just started a new job working for a Ugandan company, based in Devon, UK. It's a part time job and she is working three days a week; there is scope for her to work from home on one of those days which would be very beneficial to us as the bus fare is £6 ($8.5) a day. However, the main problem preventing her from working at home is that she is unable to access her work emails - or reply to them - from home. The company is a bit disorganised and has many different email addresses, all of which are separate accounts in Windows Mail, and she needs to have access to all these accounts when she is working. What I started to set up was a Gmail account where all her email could be forwarded to and then she could set up Gmail so she could reply from the original email addresses. However, I realised half way through that I had no way of getting Windows Mail to forward her the emails without physically being in the office to click "Send/Receive," even if I've set up rules for it to forward all mail.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Kindest regards,

    Jamie, 22, UK

You might want to take a look at setting up an IMAP account. IMAP synchronizes folders and e-mail between the server and your computer. Here is a link from GMail that explains it a bit. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=75725

I am currently using a Gmail account in an IMAP setup with Outlook Express on my computer. When I delete an e-mail from Outlook Express it automatically deletes the same e-mail from the GMail webmail account and vice versa. Works well for my setup but I'm not sure how it would play with multiple accounts - might get a bit complicated. But - it's worth taking a look.
