Ghosts in my computer

    Over the last week my computer has been turning it self on. I have shut it down completely but left it plugged in and then a couple of hours later heard it boot up in the middle of the night. I am on a always on broadband running xp pro. I am a bit worried that some spotty kid is hacking me?????

    Try entering the BIOS and see what "Wake on..." options are turned on.

    If u don't have one, get a firewall.
    Besides of it's protection, it gives u the change of controling what comes in and keep a record, this way u can (or not) find out if anyone is hacking u.... good luck
