Resolved Ghost USB drive has appeared

    All of a sudden i seem to have a usb F: drive that dosen't exist, i have no drives connected to any usb ports but i still have a usb F: drive showing in explorer, i have tried a reboot and ejecting the drive but it still comes back after a re boot, any help would be very welcome.

    It seems to have sorted itself out, may i take this oppotunity to wish everybody a great Christmas and New Year. !!!

    I am glad this sorted itself out. If this is a PC and the problem occurs, you might try a "cold" boot. That is, instead simply rebooting, shutdown Windows then unplug the computer from the wall for about 15 seconds. Then connect power and boot. For some reason, I have a couple USB devices that don't want to go away when disconnected and a simple reboot does not clear it. But a cold boot does.
